One of our original goals was to answer the question of “what can I do with my baby today?” Well, if you live near Berkeley, here’s your answer!

All classes or events below are listed with drop-in fees… some classes offer deals if you can plan ahead and buy in bulk. Some also offer first time free, so go ahead and ask.

  • Monday
    • 9:15 – 11:15 Parent & Toddler Yoga at Yogalayam $14
    • 10 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 10:15 am Baby Bounce & Story Time @ North Berkeley Branch Library
    • 11 am (English) Story Time @ Lucciola Children’s Bookstore in Piedmont
    • 12 – 1 pm Tiny Tot Swimming at King (outdoor) pool, $4.50 for adults, $2 for youth
    • 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm Baby Brigade Movie @ Parkway Theatre $5
    • Bonus activity: Meet a friend to walk the path in the Berkeley Marina, look for kites and doggies, enjoy a meal or cupcake afterward at Bette’s To Go
  • Tuesday
    • 9 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 10 am Stroller Strides Class (Lake Temescal) $15
    • 10 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Berkeley Marina) $12.50
    • 10:00 – 12:00 pm Post-natal Yoga @ Yogalayam $14
    • 10:30 am Baby Bounce & Story Time @ South Branch Library
    • 11 am (Spanish) Story Time @ Lucciola Children’s Bookstore in Piedmont
    • 12 – 1 pm Tiny Tot Swimming at King (outdoor) pool, $4.50 for adults, $2 for youth
    • 2 – 7 pm Visit the Farmers’ Market on Derby St.
    • 4 pm Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm Baby Brigade Movie @ Cerrito Theater $5
    • Bonus activity: Walk on the Olohne Path from Gilman to Solano, order take-out and walk back.
  • Wednesday
    • 8:45 am Level 2 Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 10 – 10:45 am Music time @ Northbrae Community Church … simple songs, clapping games, and instruments, $5 (continue playtime until noon in the same space!)
    • 10 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 10:30 am Spanish sing-along for kids at PriPri cafe
    • 10:15 or 11 am Baby Bounce & Story Time @ Berkeley Central Library (attend one not both)
    • 11-30 – 1:00 pm Post-natal Yoga at 4th Street Yoga Studio
    • 12 – 1 pm Tiny Tot Swimming at King (outdoor) pool, $4.50 for adults, $2 for youth
    • 4:30 pm Albany library sing-a-long
    • Bonus activity: Enjoy the shops along Upper Shattuck and take a break to feed or change your baby in the lounge at Waddle and Swaddle
  • Thursday
    • 9 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 10 am Stroller Strides Class (Lake Temescal) $15
    • 10 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Berkeley Marina) $12.50
    • 10:30 am Story time at Kensington Library
    • 12 – 1 pm Tiny Tot Swimming at King (outdoor) pool, $4.50 for adults, $2 for youth
    • 4 pm Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 5 pm Stroller Strides Class (Lake Temescal) $15
    • Bonus activity: Roam around the el Cerrito Plaza; visit the book store, pet shop, and grab dinner stuff at Trader Joe’s.
  • Friday
    • 9 am Stroller Strides Class (Bay Street) $15
    • 10:00 – 12:00 pm Post-natal Yoga @ Yogalayam $14
    • 10:00 – 10:30 Baby Bounce & Toddler Tales @ West Branch Library (first 3 Fridays of the month only!)
    • 11 am Level 2 Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 12 – 1 pm Tiny Tot Swimming at King (outdoor) pool, $4.50 for adults, $2 for youth
    • 3:30 – 3:55 Drop-in Swimming at BHS warm pool, $5.50
    • 4:00 – 4:25 Drop-in Swimming at BHS warm pool, $5.50
    • Bonus activity: Play in the totlot at San Pablo Park then treat yourself to a mocha at Scharffen Berger’s Cafe Cacao or a cannoli at Caffe Trieste.
  • Saturday
    • 9:30 am Baby Bootcamp Class (Lake Temescal) $12.50
    • 10 am – 2 pm Visit the Farmers’ Market downtown
    • 10:15 am Baby Bounce & Story Time @ Claremont Branch Library
    • 10:30 am Story time @ Cody’s Book Store on 4th Street
    • 3 pm Family Matinee(all ages) movie @ Parkway Theatre $5
    • Bonus activity: Take a stroller or backpack hike around Tilden Park. Visit the little farm if the mood strikes.
  • Sunday
    • 5 pm or 6 pm Family Night (all ages) Movie @ Parkway Theatre $5
    • Bonus activity: Enjoy the last of your weekend at the Kensington Circus Pub. It’s kid-friendly and the beer is always flowing (just watch out that the play area is under the dart-board!).

We have other ideas for activities and places in Berkeley. Hey, there’s also yoga and Baby Bootcamp in SF for a change of pace and a drive across the bay.
